According to Entertainment Tonight, the book reveals that the royal couple fired the night nurse they hired for Archie in the middle of her second shift.

Authors and royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand write that "Meghan and Harry were forced to let the nurse go in the middle of her second night of work for being unprofessional and irresponsible." And while they did end up hiring another night nurse who "did a fine job," the incident with the first night nurse was so upsetting that they ended up hiring a nanny during the day and handling nighttimes by themselves. "Neither found themselves comfortable sleeping through the night without going to check on Archie regularly," Omid and Carolyn write.

As a reminder, Meghan and Harry didn't work with Omid and Carolyn on Finding Freedom, and the couple's reps released a statement saying “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom. This book is based on the authors’ own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting."

The book is already causing drama among the royal family, and an Us source revealed that Prince William "thinks the book is their calculated way of controlling the narrative and that they took advantage of their entertainment contacts so they’d be painted in a favorable light.”
