Allegedly, the explosion’s source was the Ninel hotel in the central part of the city, which is rumored to quarter Russian FSB security service agents, as well as pro-Russian collaborators.

The blast is said to have resulted in casualties, though no official confirmation has been issued by any group.

Russian media reported on Sept. 25 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a hotel in occupied Kherson where RT propagandists were based. According to preliminary information, the attack killed former Ukrainian Party of Regions MP and collaborator, Oleksiy Zhuravko.

Ukrainian forces also struck at a large cluster of Russian military who were quartering in a dormitory building belonging to a local university in occupied Kherson on Sept. 28.
