Harry Styles mugged at knifepoint on Valentine's Day, puts on brave face at Brits 2020
Harry Styles was mugged and threatened with a knife on Valentine’s Day, it has emerged.
The former One Direction star put on a brave face as he appeared at the Brit Awards on Tuesday night to perform his song Falling, after it emerged he was forced to hand over cash at knifepoint days earlier.
Styles, 26, was approached and threatened in Hampstead, North London, late at night on Friday February 14.

The Metroplitan police confirmed in a statement: “Officers were contacted on Saturday, 15 February regarding the incident which happened at 23.50 hours on Friday, 14 February.
“It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife. The victim was not injured however, cash was taken from him.”
The Watermelon Sugar star appeared composed as he walked the red carpet at the Brits 2020 - wearing a black ribbon on his lapel. This was believed to be a tribute to his former girlfriend Caroline Flack, who it emerged over the weekend had tragically taken her own life aged 40.
Styles, 26, dated Flack from November 2011 to January 2012 when she was presenting The X Factor spin-off show The Xtra Factor.
The former boyband star gave a very emotional perfomance of his ballad Falling wearing a lace jumpsuit. He later changed into a yellow suit adorned with a badge that read “Treat people with kindness”.

Brits host Jack Whitehall “ruined” Styles yellow suit as he asked what he was drinking. Sipping from a glass which he speculated was apple juice the comedian then choked: “Oh my God! That is literally neat tequilla!” Banging on the table he upset several glasses, splasing Styles’ designer trousers with red wine.
