Social media star Nicole Thea and her unborn baby have died
Pregnant social media star Nicole Thea and her unborn son have died just weeks before the baby was due.
The YouTube and Instagram influencer had chronicled her pregnancy online, amassing tens of thousands of fans along the way.
However, a statement released on Sunday on her Insta account said both Thea and her unborn son had died the previous day.

Thea and her partner Global Boga had planned on naming their baby Reign. It is not known yet how the 24-year-old and her baby died.
The statement posted to her Instagram account reads: "To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.
"Also Nicole pre-schedule a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.
"As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.
"Thank you her mum RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven. Xxx"
The star, who lived in London, announced her pregnancy back in April.
Addressing followers, she posted: "We are already obsessed with you our little miracle baby. Thank you for choosing us to be your parents and best friends."

She later told fans they had discovered the baby’s gender, writing: "We are having a bouncing baby boy family.
"We actually can't wait to meet him... I actually wanted a girl so she can be a daddy's girl but now my little prince will be a mummy's boy. Oh lord I'm full of emotions writing this."
The most recent YouTube video posted saw Thea bathing in a bath tub filled with milk as part of a pregnancy photo shoot. The video was posted with the comments section disabled shortly before the tragic news of her death was shared.
