‘Portlandia’ Sneak Peek: Fred and Carrie Go to a Wedding … If They Can Find It
In this week’s new Portlandia installment, Fred and Carrie have said “I do” … to attending a mutual friend’s wedding. Now if they can only find their way to the nuptial venue.
The problem: The venue is one of those annoyingly named vacation and event spots — the Pine Hill Gardens at the Old Orchard Village and Resort in this instance — which turns out to be a vineyard (an identifying word that might have actually helped find it, and so, of course, the only word not in the title of the place).

Adding to the confusion: There are multiple weddings happening on the same day, the signage on the driving path to the venue is written with white ink on white paper, other wedding guests think Fred and Carrie are Uber drivers, and arrows pointing to the affair are pointing in multiple directions.
Spoiler: They finally arrive at the wedding, but it’s how they arrive that makes the whole adventure worth watching.
Portlandia airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on IFC.
